Simon Townsend, PSAI ITE # 723

Simon has worked on M/Y Vranjak 1 since 2021 as the Dive Supervisor, Instructor and Guide. As an instructor he teaches at all levels although he specializes in Closed Circuit Rebreathers (CCR), Deep Wreck, Technical and Cave diving teaching both divers and instructors.

Simon teaches diving through PSAI (Professional Scuba Association International), one of the oldest diving agencies in the world. He is based in Austria, but teaches diving all over Europe and the United Kingdom.

He has also been the expedition leader on many diving expeditions, including HMHS Britannic and Graf Zeppelin.

Whilst onboard M/Y Vranjak 1, Simon teaches the following courses, Deep Diver, Advanced Buoyancy Control, Nitrox, Advanced Nitrox, Extended Range Nitrox, CCR Mod1-3(40-100 metres), Cavern Diver, Intro to Cave diver, Wreck and Advanced Wreck Diver, Sidemount Diver and Twinset Diver. On special request it is also possible to do Normoxic Trimix as well.
