Istra tour covers the area from Zadar to Pula and it basically unites three Croatian Adriatic regions: north Dalmatia, Kvarner and Istra.
This tour is highly exposed to weather conditions and these conditions dictate completely dive spots and places where we stay overnight.
Highlight diving spots are: wreck ‘’Ledenik’’ island Sestrunj (20 m), cavern ‘’Cathedral’’ on island Premuda, wreck Euterpe (ex Tihanny, max 35 m) on island Unije, wreck ‘’Vis’’ (18-32m) near Premantura and Baron Gautsch (28-42 m), located about 12 Nm North West from Pula. This whole area is full of wrecks and it is impossible to have a strict schedule for diving spots. Weather and diving experience of the group are the most important factors. All these diving spots are completely exposed to the direction of the open sea!
All wrecks on this tour are under special protection by the Ministry of Culture and therefore all divers have to pay fees to dive on these wrecks.
On the first day of the tour, when a general 7 days forecast is available, the captain will discuss with the group leader and all guests if the tour can or cannot be done and alternative routes will be suggested.
After the departure from Sukošan, Vranjak usually spends the first night of cruising (Saturday) in a place called Kukljica on island Ugljan and last night of cruising tour (Friday) is always reserved for the port of Sukošan.
Possible extra costs of the Istra tour are wreck fees and fuel surcharge.
In the case of bad weather the captain has a right to change the route plan.
One the first day of cruising, diving spots and possible suggestions can be discussed with the captain and the dive guide on the boat.
