South tour

Zadar-Rogoznica–Žirje–National Park Kornati

South tour covers area from Zadar up to place Rogoznica which is located south from city of Šibenik.

First day (Saturday):

Vranjak I starts cruising toward place Kukljica on island Ugljan (www.kukljica.hr). With one swim stop, the ship arrives before dinner time into this small Dalmatian place. Kukljica is our home port and first day is always reserved for check of diving equipment, briefing and taking of necessary supplies for the whole week.

Second day (Sunday):

Our cruising continues toward south including two dives in area of Vodice. In area of Vodice there are several interesting spots like island Sokol, north side of island Kaprije and wreck Francesca da Rimini. Francesca da Rimini is reserved for advanced scuba and technical divers.
Francesca da Rimini is also specially protected cultural heritage and diving can be done only by support of local dive club. The price of diving is 20 euro per each dive/per diver.
Over the night we sleep in small place near Vodice, Tribunj.
Tribunj is located near Šibenik and it is typical fishing port. The main part of village is located on island and it is connected by stone bridge with the main land.

Third day (Monday):

From Tribunj, we continue our journey down to the south toward Rogoznica. After diving on two different spots, we stay overnight in Rogoznica.

Fourth day (Tuesday):

Island Žirje is our destination on fourth day of cruising. Žirije is place reserved for deep walls and one little fish wreck. Visibility of sea provides unforgettable moments.

Fifth day (Wednesday):

From Žirije we are moving toward city of Vodice. After two dives, we stay overnight in Vodice.

Sixth day and seventh day (Thursday and Friday):

After Vodice, the ship usually cruises toward national park Kornati. National park has several locations with beautiful underwater walls. We usually dive on island Panitula and Balun and sleep on island Levrnaka. After diving for 2 days in Kornati, ship arrives on Friday evening in marina Sukošan.

For ordinary groups, tour goes through almost same places. All attractive diving spots are replaced by peaceful bays and other places suitable for swimming and enjoying the sun. This tour also offers possibility of visiting national park Krka (www.npkrka.hr) with well known waterfalls.
